Booking Terms & Conditions
Siam Fishing Tours (trading as Jurassic Mountain Resort & Fishing Park) Terms & Conditions. Please read our terms and conditions before booking your holiday.
1. Application
1.1 Please read these Booking Terms & Conditions carefully. Your booking with Jurassic Mountain Resort and Fishing Park is made with the operating and management company, Siam Fishing Tours Co Ltd, which is registered under the laws of Thailand (together and hereinafter referred to as the Company). These conditions apply to any booking in respect of the provision of any Service (including transportation in Thailand, fishing activities, use of the resort facilities, restaurant and accommodation) by or on behalf of the Company or any of its affiliates, associates or agents and wherever the booking is made.
1.2 We may revise these Booking Terms & Conditions from time to time by updating this page. The revised terms & conditions will take effect when they are posted.
1.3 Where a booking is made on behalf of a number of persons, it is agreed that the ‘lead name’ has authority to accept and does accept the Booking Terms and Conditions on their own behalf and on behalf of the other persons. Reference in these Booking Terms & Conditions to “you” and “your” will therefore refer to both yourself and those on whose behalf you have made the booking.
2. Payment
2.1 For us to confirm your booking you must pay a deposit of 30% per person (the Deposit(s)).
2.2 Your booking may include certain travel arrangements in Thailand. The balance of the price of any such travel arrangements must be paid by you upon arrival at the resort in Thai Baht cash.
2.3 The balance of any Services shall be payable by you at the resort prior to leaving the resort in Thai Baht cash.
2.4 Before you confirm a booking we will give you the up-to-date price of your chosen Services, including the cost of any supplements, upgrades or additional facilities which you have requested (the Quotation). The prices contained in the Quotation will remain applicable for 30 days.
2.5 To reserve the booking with the prices as per the Quotation, the Deposit(s) must be paid by you within 30 days of the Quotation. Full instructions regarding this will be provided to you at the time.
2.6 On receipt of the Deposit(s) your booking will be reserved in respect of all persons travelling and we will send you a Booking Confirmation. It is important that you check the details on the Booking Confirmation when you get it, so that all the details are exactly as you requested. In the event of any discrepancy, please contact us immediately.
2.7 If you want to cancel or change your booking later you may have to pay amendment or cancellation costs (described in clauses 5, 6 and 8 below).
3. Travel documents
3.1 All passport, visa, travel insurance and health certificate requirements are your responsibility and the Company its affiliates or associates take no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred through any irregularity in your documents. You are advised to contact the Thai consulate for details well in advance of your travel dates.
4. Flights
4.1 Our only obligations to you are in relation to the Services provided and we take no responsibility whatsoever for your flights or any other arrangements outside the scope of our Services.
5. If You Change Your Booking
5.1 If, after the Booking Confirmation has been issued, you wish to make any changes your arrangements, for example your chosen arrival, departure, accommodation or fishing dates, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes to be made must be from the ‘lead name’ who made the booking. You may be asked to pay an administration charge per person and any further cost we incur in making this alteration. You should be aware that these costs could increase the closer to the arrival date that changes are made and you should contact us as soon as possible. If we cannot accommodate your changes, you may be required to cancel your booking (see clause 6 below).
6. If You Cancel Your Booking
6.1 You, or any member of your party, may cancel your booking at any time. Once a Booking Confirmation has been provided, cancelation will require written notification by e-mail or from the ‘lead name’ on the booking must be received by the Company and/or applicable agent. Since we incur costs in cancelling your booking, you will have to pay the applicable cancellation charges up to the maximum shown in the table at clause 8 below.
6.2 Please note that, in the case of cancellation after receipt of Booking Confirmation, no refund will be given. 6.3 Please note that in the case of part cancellation, for example if members of your party cancel, in addition to incurring the applicable cancellation charges, we will recalculate the price for the remaining persons.
7. If We Change or Cancel Your Booking
This website operates an email newsletter program, used to inform subscribers about products and services supplied by this website. Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so but do so at their own discretion. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior written agreement with the user. Subscriptions are taken in compliance with Spam Laws. All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely. No personal details are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies / people outside of the company that operates this website. Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you may request a copy of personal information held about you by this website's email newsletter program. A small fee will be payable. Email marketing campaigns published by this website or it's owners may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity [this is by no far a comprehensive list]. This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity In compliance with Spam Laws and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign. If an automated un-subscription system is unavailable clear instructions on how to un-subscribe will by detailed instead.
7.1 It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your booking after the Booking Confirmation has been provided, but we do plan the arrangements many months in advance. Occasionally we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible opportunity (see further clause 9 below).
7.2 However, given the location of the resort, it can suffer from extreme weather conditions such as tropical depressions, flash floods etc. There is also a risk of political and/or social instability which may affect your safety at the resort. Due to their unpredictability, these, and other similar events, are force majeure events and we shall not be liable for any changes to your arrangements either before or after departure, which in our opinion are necessary to protect your safety. In this event we will offer you suitable alternative arrangements, or, if the booking has to be cancelled in these circumstances, return the monies you have paid to us. No compensation will be payable.

9. Minor Changes
9.1 All brochure/website descriptions are made in good faith and every care is taken to ensure their accuracy. However, in view of the detail contained therein and the fact that brochures/websites are necessarily prepared/created some time in advance of distribution and of the advertised facilities, amenities, and schedules may, on occasion, be restricted, curtailed, changed or cancelled.
9.2 Check out / Late Check-Out
9.3 Standard check out time is 12 Noon. Late check-out may be provided on request either in advance or at the resort. Additional fees apply.
10. If You Have A Complaint
10.1 Every effort will be made by us for the provision of Services, but in the unlikely event that you have a problem regarding the Services, you must inform a representative of the Company immediately who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved at the resort, please follow this up within a reasonable period of time (we would suggest 14 days) of your return home. Your complaint should be in writing, to us, giving your booking reference and all other relevant information. Please keep your letter concise and to the point. This will assist us to quickly identify your concerns and speed up our response to you. It is strongly suggested that you communicate any complaint to us whilst in hospitality. If you fail to follow this simple request we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst with us and this may affect your rights under this contract.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 You will be solely responsible for your general safety and for the general safety of any children accompanying you, including in relation to the safekeeping of baggage and personal effects, at all times.
11.2 You agree that in advance of your departure you will seek the necessary medical advice regarding prophylaxis, vaccination and general health requirements covering your visit to the resort.
11.3 The Company, its affiliates and associates, do not accept any liability (of any nature) for any loss or damage in relation to loss or harm (of whatever nature) to the baggage, personal effects or other property belonging to you, or injury or illness to you, or loss of life or consequential damages in respect of you, which might occur from any cause whatsoever. You hereby assume all risk (of whatever nature) attached to and/or in relation to and/or incurred in the provision of Services.
11.4 It is accepted that activities which take place at the resort, by their very nature, contain an element of risk and that you accept the Services entirely at your own risk and warrant that you will sign a waiver of liability upon arriving at the resort. Such waiver shall be read in conjunction with these Booking Terms & Conditions.
11.5 Notwithstanding anything else contained in these Booking Terms and Conditions, the Company’s total liability, and that of its affiliates, associates and agents, arising out of or in connection with the provision of Services which are the subject of the booking, shall be limited to 10,000BHT amount, and we therefore strongly recommend that you take out the appropriate insurance as detailed in clause 15 below.
12. Insurance
12.1 It is strongly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance for the period of your stay with us. We suggest that the policy include, but not limited to, the following coverage – loss of payment through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and comprehensive medical expenses.
13. Links to Third Parties
13.1 The Company does not control any third party website and is therefore not responsible for the content of any linked website or any link contained in a linked website. Such links are only provided as a convenience to you and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement, investigation or verification by the Company of the linked website or any information contained in it.
14. Conduct
14.1 You agree that you will adhere strictly and at all times to these Booking Terms & Conditions and will sign a copy of the resort rules upon arrival.
14.2 You will not engage in any activity, conduct, distribution or trade practice or advertising method which will be harmful, directly or indirectly, to the Company.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
15.1 These Booking Terms & Conditions and your legal relationship with the Company, its affiliates, and associates, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
15.2 In the event of any dispute, controversy or claim (of whatever nature) (“dispute”) between you and the Company, its affiliates or associates, as to the rights and obligations under these Booking Terms & Conditions, or as to any other matter arising from or out of or that in any way is related to these Booking Terms & Conditions, or to the provision of Services, including (but not limited to) any question as to the existence, validity or termination of these Booking Terms & Conditions, such dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
16. Validity
16.1 If any provision or part of any of the above clauses is deemed to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then only that invalid or unenforceable part shall be struck out and the balance of the clause, and clauses shall remain valid and binding.
17. Changes / Amendments
17.1 There will be no changes or amendments to these Booking Terms & Conditions unless otherwise expressly stated in writing between the parties.
